When we recall our primary school days with our old friends, they are wonderful memories regardless of sweet or bitter.
For most of us, primary education is our first stage of formal education.
Our primary classmates were with us for six years.
We learnt what were friends and how friends would stick with us through good times and bad times.
We learnt about betrayal and loyalty through friendship.
Memories of our old school days like our school song would rush back to us.
Regardless of how much we may have hated or loved our school days, education has indeed provided the starting point to ignite creativity and our work habits.
We used to memorise all we need for examination without thinking about whether they would be useful to us in future.
In this 21st century, teachers would try to get pupils to understand the purpose of learning in an authentic manner.
