This is a short animated film about the history of LEGO.
Everyone around the world knows LEGO but it had its humble beginning of making wooden toys for children before creating LEGO.
There was even a fire that destroyed everything in the factory but the founder, Ole Christiansen, continued his journey to rebuild his company to make wooden toys for children.
It all started with wooden toys but inspiration led to the start of automatic binding bricks from plastic.
Imagine the challenges that Ole faced when he lost his wife and he had to look after his kids while building his business.
The spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation can be clearly seen in the founder of LEGO.
As teachers, we want to nurture entrepreneurship and innovation in our students to cope with the 21st Century demands so the story of Ole is a great inspiration.
