Design To change Lives

Riley Sheehan used his Honours Project to improve the functions of an electric wheelchair.

He uses a wheelchair and he knows the need of others who are using it.

He felt that the technology of wheelchairs were not moving as fast as he wanted.

This project really speaks well to his heart and personal needs.

A good product is often one that solves a problem for many.

Dr Sam Canning, Senior Lecturer, supported his idea greatly.

It is wonderful to see a product that can make the life of others better being designed and created.

Product creators should first consider consumers’ needs before proceeding in designing their products to ensure popularity.
